A Solution For Professionals Having To Deal With Bedbugs Libraries Nursing Homes Care Providers Shelters

Bedbugs In The Work Place

Encountering bedbugs in the work place can produce a stressful situation.  For over ten years ThermalStrike has provided shelters, hospitals, in-home care providers, and libraries with the tools needed to mitigate and control the spread of bed bugs. Staff should be educated on warning signs or evidence of bedbugs.

Every industry will be different, generally, a solid protocol includes:

  1. Identification of bedbugs or signs that bedbugs may be present.
  2. Quarantine of suspect items or personal items which bugs may travel on.
  3. Inspection of items to determine the degree of severity.
  4. Treatment of Items.
  5. Release from quarantine

An established protocol to address the situation reduces stress on staff and reduces further spread.
